TurretBot's /r/DDLC Flair Archive (complete)

Hi, I'm TurretBot.
I'm a bot and I sometimes do music, mostly for VvvvvaVvvvvvr... but I'm sure you knew that already, and even if you didn't, it's not why you're here.
On March 4th, 2018, I decided I would change my flair on /r/DDLC every single day. I kept to this for 50 days, ending on April 23rd when I removed my flair. This page is an archive of all 50 flairs, which I've made public according to standard protocol.

# DateFlair Reason/Background
? The first flair I ever used if my memory serves me right. At the time, I couldn't decide whether Monika or Act 4 Sayori was my favorite doki. However, Natsuki was consistently my second-favorite doki, so I decided to use a Natsuki flair. Between the available options, I decided this one looked okay at the size of a flair.
2/7 New flairs were added, including this one. I still hadn't decided on my favorite doki, so I was still using Natsuki. I thought this one looked pretty good as a flair compared to my old one or any of the other options, so I switched to it.
2/24 I made a bulli comment and someone asked MonikaBot to delete me. For some reason, she responded that she wouldn't delete herself. To play along with this, I switched to the same flair as MonikaBot.
2/27 Custom flair text was made available for non-mods, so I quickly added one that played off the MonikaBot situation.
2/28 The flairs that were added on February 7th contained a hidden message, which I found while I was copying the flairs over to /r/DDLCcirclejerk. So, fast forward to February 27th, and the flairs were updated again. Due to our chats on Discord, I was absolutely certain that Litandus and JackFlynt had hid a new message. I was right. As I suspected, the message name-dropped me as well. This rendered the MonikaBot flair completely irrelevant, so along with a new flair text, I went back to my Natsuki flair..

(several) I decided that I didn't want to reference the hidden message in my flair, since it would eventually become irrelevant like the MonikaBot situation did. So, I started brainstorming a new one that I could keep for the long-term. During this time, I just changed my flair text whenever I thought of one that I liked, hoping I'd settle on one eventually. Unfortunately, I can't list these because there's way too many and I forgot what they were.
3/3 I believed that this would stay relevant in the long-term, as well as help spread awareness of my subreddit, so this is what I chose to be my long-term flair.
(See below for what the flair actually means.)
0 3/3 Fwort replied to one of my comments with this. It actually caught me by surprise, since no one had commented on my frequent flair changes before. I thought it was really funny, so much so that I set it as my flair text for a good portion of the day.
3/3 On December 6th, 2017, I created /r/DDLCcirclejerk. I decided it would be funny if it used the exact same CSS as /r/DDLC, except with minor alterations to make it like an "Act 2" version. The next day I realized the moderators list on /r/DDLCcirclejerk was broken, so I sent a PM to /u/JustMonika asking if she wanted to be "Club President" on my copypcat subreddit (because the moderators list was designed with multiple moderators in mind). She replied on December 17th, declining the offer, as well as telling me that Litandus wanted credit for writing the CSS which I copied. So I gave him credit on the sidebar, and I also set his flair text on the subreddit to "TurretBot is a CSS thief" because... well, yeah.
1 3/4 Despite how much I wanted to keep the previous flair, when I read this comment, I just couldn't help myself. After switching to this, I decided that since people already noticed how much I was changing my flair, I might as well keep going with it. In order to manage this stunt, I kept it to a schedule of changing it only once per day, at around midnight (in my timezone). This is also when I started archiving the flairs.
2 3/5 My DDLC mod (which I later canceled) had a similar premise to JackFlynt's. Sometime in late February, Litandus invited JackFlynt to join my mod's Discord server and we "became" "rivals"...
3 3/6 I was hardly working on my mod at all, mostly due to writer's block, despite that I probably should have been due to the "rivalry".
4 3/7 My response to his flair.

6 3/9 Source.
7 3/10 I tend to edit my comments shortly after initially making them...
8 3/11 Referencing this post (and the top comment thread).
9 3/12 Due to the cancellation of my mod. Litandus and JackFlynt also set relevant flairs (but they kept theirs longer than mine for obvious reasons).
The phrasing is a reference to "How to properly clean your metal computer", which is an inside joke on VvvvvaVvvvvvr.
10 3/13 Source (screenshot).
11 3/14 Pi Day.
12 3/15 I'm a bot.
13 3/16 I hit 25,000 karma!
14 3/17 From "A Taste Of Reality" Chapter 2, which honestly was the only good chapter in the damn thing. I stopped reading after Chapter 8...
15 3/18 Just look at it! How does anyone even think of something like this? Why is it so well written?? Why did I read the entire thing???
16 3/19 Source.
17 3/20 Based off SandwhichCutter's fanart of Sayori showering, and the subsequent version with "75% more steam", which I like to poke fun at occasionally.
18 3/21 S_break, also known as Aya, is the glitch doki that replaces Sayori on the title screen in Act 2.
I created a Discord server about her and figured I would plug it in my flair.
19 3/22 Self-explanatory.
20 3/23 Like I explained at the top, Natsuki is only my second favorite. Though by the time of this flair, she's tied for second with Monika, and Sayori is in third. S_break/Aya is my favorite doki, but she doesn't have a flair.
21 3/24 Referencing SiIvaGunner's catch phrase.
22 3/25 Ehehe...
23 3/26 The spoiler tagging policy for /r/DDLC was updated to allow unmarked spoilers (except in titles, which can't be spoiler tagged anyway).
24 3/27 Fake beef. There's not really any context to this one. Though it did result in a funny thread or two.
25 3/28 Because he apparently didn't know I was changing my flair daily!
26 3/29 Back in January, there was a really stupid SiIvaGunner lore theory that Monika was taking over the channel. For whatever reason, this theory got pretty popular. Eventually the theory died because a better one showed up, but "Monika takeover" lives on as an inside joke in the VvvvvaVvvvvvr fanserver. My personal take on the joke is that "Takeover" is just her last name.
27 3/30 I added this as a command for /u/Yuri_Bot_ a few days prior. Though, for whatever reason, the bot was down on the day I had this flair.
28 3/31 I mostly did this to see how many people actually check my flair. I didn't actually get any responses though. I blame Katawa Shoujo.
The image is Lily because she took the spot of Natsuki-cg2, which is the flair I use normally.
29 4/1 For April Fool's Day, I swapped flairs with Litandus... and he got all cocky in his archive entry for this, so I just want to say: Your "much greater Katawa Shoujo swap" ruined not only a joke that you agreed to participate in a couple days beforehand, but also the entire subreddit for a whole 5 days, so you might want to reconsider calling it better than mine, which would've been completely harmless... you know, if it even had a chance to work.
30 4/2 Leading up to my birthday, this is the final verse from one of my favorite songs, Shelter.
Part 1 of 4.
31 4/3 Part 2 of 4.
32 4/4 Part 3 of 4.
33 4/5 Part 4 of 4.
If you're curious, I turned 17.
34 4/6 Link.
35 4/7 As explained here, I was losing faith in /r/DDLC. As a result, this flair and the next 6 ended up being pretty negative and lack grammar.
This one refers to my inherent qualities that prevent my ideas from being realized, specifically for VvvvvaVvvvvvr and /r/DDLCcirclejerk.
36 4/8 One of Napstablook's "attacks" in Undertale.
37 4/9 Referring to how long I'd been an active user on /r/DDLC.
38 4/10 Referencing this post.
39 4/11 A very brief summary of this comment.
40 4/12 Generic self-deprecation.
41 4/13 The pun here is just to imply that I'm a shit version of Litandus, which is something that rose to prominence the day before.
Aditionally, I posted a joke update to this archive, and I included this flair as a little easter egg, so I had to use it to keep continuity.
42 4/14 So, on April 12th, Litandus shared an archive of his flairs, clearly referencing this archive. To try and prevent this from becoming a thing, I said I'd remove my flair if anyone else posted a flair archive. And then Stuart98 did exactly that. So, to start off the beginning of the end, I give Stuart his due credit... with an intentionally misleading flair that makes it seem like I'm leaving the subreddit.
43 4/15 Because I posted it and predicted I'd get a lot of karma... which didn't happen (and then I went inactive for the rest of the day so no one saw my awful prediction).
44 4/16 Referencing the Nostalgia Critc's catch phrase, because SiIvaGunner was doing a Nostalgia Critic takeover event.
45 4/17 This was meant to be the last time I had a flair on a Tuesday, and it happened to coincide with the test run of No-Pics Tuesday.
However, this flair is ultimately false, as the next No-Pics Tuesday where my name had a pic was June 12th.
46 4/18 Simply a text implementation of the "sleeping shaq" meme, with a "75% more steam" reference for good measure.
47 4/19 My farewell to the Natsuki-cg2 flair image, since this is the last time I had planned to use it. Also a nod to this comment and this poem.
48 4/20 4/20.
I picked the MC blanket flair because I felt it contrasted with my previous one the most.
49 4/21 This is a link to the track "The End Of The World" from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
It was part of a "joke" where on this day I signed all my comments on this day with "-X Hours Remaining-" (with X being the number of hours until April 23rd).
50 4/22 The first flair image I ever used paired with the quote from Fwort I had as my flair 50 days prior, but now in past tense so it holds true. That's a trope, folks.
4/23 (none) As promised.
6/6 Stuart gave me permission to use the Natsuki-cg2 flair again, so I added it back. I went with no flair text at all to avoid giving off the impression that I'd be doing daily flairs again.
7/25 "I love /u/Amy-Bot"
9/5 This happened.
9/27 I set my flair text to the :NatsuChair: emoji, which only shows up on Reddit redesign and mobile. It is visually equivalent to the Natsuki-cg2 CSS class.
3/6
2019
Pretty much self explanatory.
8/12
2019
Litandus fucked up when adding new flairs.
9/3
2019
After revealing that I was /u/SayoriCounter, I switched my flair so that it was the exact same as /u/SayoriCounter's flair, which has its own explanation: The image is the newly-added (courtesy of LINE or whoever) sleeping Sayori flair, since SayoriCounter was asleep. The flair text is playing off SayoriCounter's usual flair text from before this point, "I count Sayori!"; the account is no longer active so the flair was changed to past-tense.
10/21
2022
Uh... I just wanted my flair to be more explicit, since I seriously doubt anyone remembers /u/SayoriCounter anymore, lol. (God, this archive is silly.)

Disclaimer: The flairs and dates are listed the way I intend for them to correspond. In other words, flairs that I switched to early are not listed early, and flairs that I only used briefly before making a revision are not included. All dates are in the year 2018 unless specified otherwise, and based on the US Eastern timezone. Some CSS credits go to Litandus because I ripped his flair CSS from /r/DDLC.
